FHCE has experience designing food and beverage production facilities for customers such as Nestlé Prepared Foods, Clemens Food Group, JBS Swift, and Keurig. This experience allows us to provide structural solutions that are not only safe and efficient, but also accommodate standard requirements of the food and beverage industry such as hygiene standards and the ability to remain serviceable when subjected to large temperature swings which often occur inside food and beverage facilities.
FHCE was responsible for the structural design of Clemens Food Group’s award winning 650,000 s.f. fresh pork processing facility. The structural steel and precast concrete facility includes a 3,128 ft Snap Chill Chain, the longest and fastest Snap Chill in the world. Creative framing solutions and construction details were developed to ensure the facility performed satisfactorily while exposed to extremely large temperature differentials and changes in temperature within the facility.
